Large 300mm Nylon Hook & Loop Discs: |
Interchangeable hook & loop sanding discs are so easy and simple to change. They are a big plus in both efficiency and cost. If you wish to change grades with adhesive discs it
takes time to remove the old disc - which is destroyed in the process. Not so with the hook & loop system. Simply peel off the old grade and place the new one in position; a 30 second grade change with
no damage to the old disc which can be used time and time again. |

Safety Brake: |
When you cut the motor on a disc sander it can go on spinning silently for some time which obviously presents a danger. The Hegner HSM300 is fitted with a braking system which the
operator can use to halt the run-on when the machine is switched off. |

Efficient Dust Extraction Port: |
The dust generated by the disc sander can be efficiently and safely drawn away by means of the dust extraction cowling. Not just a box beneath the sander the cowling is shaped to duct
the dust efficently to the extraction port. With a suitable dust extractor fitted to the 100mm extraction port, virtually no dust is released into the operating environment. A reduction sleeve is supplied as
standard to reduce the port to accept 58mm hose . |
